I've owned many mid to high end brand of vacuums from Hoover, shark, rainbow etc and the Dyson V15 made me enjoy cleaning again, the laser really does detect any dirt or hair that is hanging around …..my only issue is for the price the battery should last way longer
I was a huge Dyson fan. I got the corded ones before where you drag around the canister, 6 years ago. Forget what it's called. Loved it. Super suctioning, easy to clean, did a great job. Got the V15 (luckily for free with points) and boy am I glad I didn't buy it at $800+. Definitely quality sucks, I mean it sucks and cleans well just the build like you're saying.

Matches the Dyson V15 in cleaning performance but adds a self-emptying dock, a feature that makes it the most hands-off cordless option available. Wired calls it the best value for features if you want one vacuum for all floor types.
Wirecutter's top cordless stick vacuum pick for its nimble handling, laser debris detection, and reliable cleaning across floor types. It's the sweet spot between power and portability in the Dyson lineup.
Delivers top-tier hardwood performance at a fraction of Dyson's price, CNET found it averaged 89.92% pickup across hard and low/mid-pile carpet. One of only three vacuums to crack 80% in CNET's demanding sand pickup test.
Miele's reputation for build quality and serviceability makes the Duoflex HX1 the top pick for people who want a cordless vacuum that lasts a decade, not two years. Reddit's vacuum enthusiast community consistently calls it the most solid option.
